Nora Marie-Theres Beatrice Elisabeth Waldstätten [ane] (born 1 December 1981), besides formerly known as Nora von Waldstätten, is an Austrian extra.

Early life [edit]

Nora von Waldstätten was born in Vienna. She is a fellow member of the erstwhile Austrian noble Barons of Waldstätten family.[2] She is the great-granddaughter of the former general, Theresien Knight and armed forces writer Egon Freiherr von Waldstätten. Since the provisions of the Austrian law on the emptying of dignity forbid this from being a noble title, Nora von Waldstätten used this name until the end of 2016 equally a phase proper name. She graduated from Berlin University of the Arts in 2007. During this time, she was engaged in productions for cinema and television.[3]

Career [edit]

In 2004, she became known for her function in Jargo, 2005 to a wide public through her participation in the police procedural television set series Tatort. For her functioning in the series, she received the New Faces Award past Bunte in 2009. In improver, she was honored in 2010 at the film festival Max Ophüls Award for the motion-picture show Schwerkraft as best immature actress. Internationally she appeared as the role of Magdalena Kopp in Olivier Assayas biopic Carlos, which was celebrated in at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival and was awarded a Golden Globe in 2011. In 2011 she appeared in a short film as a testimonial for the Austrian beverage bottler Vöslauer [de]. In 2012, she starred in the international Tv adaptation of Ken Follett'south novel World Without End, and in 2015 in Austrian Television set serial Altes Geld. In 2016, she starred in Olivier Assayas Personal Shopper with Kristen Stewart and Lars Eidinger which won All-time Manager award for Assayas in Cannes Film Festival.[4]

Nora Waldstätten lives in Berlin. Since 2007, she played in that location at the Deutsches Theater in several productions. In 2010, she also appeared in 2 plays at the Schauspiel Köln.
